The Government of Canada released Budget 2022.
On April 7, 2022, Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland introduced the Federal Government’s first comprehensive budget that focuses on more than COVID-19 relief programs.
It is also the first budget introduced since the NDP agreed to support the Liberals on confidence and budgetary matters.
Budget 2022 intends to address issues Canadians cared about in the 2021 Federal Election: housing, climate, jobs, and affordability.
