The CFLA & ELFA met to share best practices and collaborate on matters that impact members.
On April 26, we travelled to Washington, DC, to meet with our counterparts at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA).
ELFA is the trade association representing companies in the US $1.1 trillion equipment finance sector. Its 600 members include independent and captive leasing and finance companies, banks, financial services corporations, broker/packagers and investment banks, as well as manufacturers and service providers.
ELFA advocates, shares intelligence, and hosts events that support the US industry – much like how the CFLA operates in Canada.
Each CFLA team member met with their official counterparts to compare best practices, share resources, and identify new strategies we can use to help enhance our service offerings. This visit also opened two-way communication between our associations to continue working together and advancing our industries.
