The Government of Canada released its 2023 budget:
On March 28, 2023, Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland introduced the 2023 federal budget, “A Made-in-Canada Plan.” The budget focuses on investing in green technology, healthcare, housing, and affordable dental care.
Budget 2023 projects a $40.1 billion deficit for the current fiscal year and $52.7 billion in increased spending over the next five years.
