“The impact of inflated values of used equipment is a concern,” said Michael Rothe, CFLA President & CEO. “For example, transportation equipment manufacturers were 38% below capacity in Q3 2021, increasing demand for used equipment and driving prices up. Prices should eventually revert to normal when supply chains and production stabilize, but recoveries will likely decline significantly in the future.”
